Global RE-Invest 2017 India-ISA Partnership, the second edition of the biennial Renewable Energy Investors Meet & Expo, will be held from 7 – 9 December 2017 at Greater Noida, India. It will build upon the success of RE-Invest 2015 and explore the advances made on the ground to achieve India's target of 175 GW renewable energy capacity by 2022.

It will provide a robust engagement platform for government stakeholders, investors and top executives from the Indian and international renewable energy sectors.

Global RE-INVEST 2017 is being organised in partnership with the International Solar Alliance (ISA). The ISA is a common platform for cooperation among 121 solar resource rich nations. The initiative was jointly launched by Prime Minister of India Mr Narendra Modi and President of France, M. François Hollande on 30 November 2015 in Paris, France. ISA aims to increase the diffusion of solar energy by aggregating markets, developing common standards, taking solar power applications to scale to improve energy access and livelihoods of marginal and unserved communities.

The objective of the RE-Invest series of conference-expos is to showcase India’s renewable energy potential and the Government's efforts to develop and scale up installed renewable energy capacity to meet the national energy requirement in a socially, economically and ecologically sustainable manner.

Global RE-Invest 2017 edition will not only continue the ongoing information campaign on renewable energy in India to established stakeholders, but also reach out to newer segments of investors and entrepreneurs like start-ups and venture capitalists interested in clean energy.

Several Energy Ministers and high-level delegations from the 121 ISA Member nations of ISA are expected to participate in Global RE-Invest 2017. Speakers, exhibitors and participants at the 3-day Conference-Expo will include global investors, leading renewable energy project developers, manufacturers, financiers, advisors, multilateral agencies, R&D institutions, think tanks, civil society organisations, and members of academia.

RE-Invest 2017 is being organised by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy in partnership with the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA), the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce (FICCI), with YES Bank as the knowledge partner
